Does the falling snow and accompanying cold temperatures have you daydreaming about the spring season ahead? Do those visions include improving upon your home’s outdoor space? If you answered “yes,” a hardscaping project may be just the thing to get on your to-do list.
But don’t worry, we can help with all the heavy lifting and with bringing your vision to life.
What is Hardscaping?
Adding form and function to outdoor spaces, hardscaping could come in the form of a garden walkway or bench, a fence to secure your yard space for children and pets, or even a new set of stairs to improve the curb appeal of your home. More extravagant projects can include outdoor kitchens, pergolas, fire pits and covered porches and patios.
Why Choose New Castle?

Landscape Designer Tricia Voss is a Penn State graduate with a B.S. in Landscape Contracting, and concentrations in Design and Ornamental Horticulture. Tricia is one of New Castle’s plant experts and can visualize a plantscape with layers of seasonal interest, color and texture before the first click of the mouse. She helps to educate the New Castle team on plants and design concepts. With prior installation and maintenance experience, she knows what it takes to keep a landscape looking fresh and interesting year after year. Her goal is to create spaces that you want to spend time in and to have something interesting to find there regardless of the space’s size or your vantage point. Beyond residential landscaping, Tricia has designed city gardens, has restored estates and has designed an award-winning Philadelphia Flower Show display.
Account Supervisor/Landscape Designer Stacey Carmello is also a Penn State graduate with a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture and a Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturalist (PCH). Stacey streamlines the process and makes sure the whole design/sales team is organized and communicating with one another.
