It takes a very long time for trees to reach maturity. According to the USDA, a large tree can produce a full day’s supply of oxygen for up to four people. Trees also help clean our air by absorbing carbon dioxide. So if you would prefer to save rather than remove it, we will do our best to save it.

How do you tell if a tree is healthy?

Your tree is healthy if its bark is dense, its branches are strong and leaves are lush and vibrant.

What are some signs of disease to look out for?

Watch for color on the leaves that is unusual for the season. Patches of the canopy without leaves could also be a sign of disease. The bark shouldn’t loose and there shouldn’t be a lot of fungus, cracks, etc on it.

When is it time to contact an Arborist?

This certification ensures the highest level of professionalism in tree health assessments and risk evaluations—a distinction not all companies can offer. Andy’s background also includes certifications in Basic Wild Land Firefighting (PA-130) and Oregon Chainsaw operation, demonstrating his commitment to safety and precision in all aspects of tree care. What does a health assessment involve?

When you call, we will schedule you for a visit from one of our Arborists. They will perform a comprehensive review of your trees

What happens after the review?

We will share our assessment with you along with our recommendations on remedial actions

Are you able to perform the recommended actions?

Yes. Our tree service team lead by one of our arborists can perform the recommended remedial services, be it pruning, injections, fertilizers or a number of other possible options.

What if the tree is too diseased or damaged?

In such cases it is best to remove the tree. Our tree service team will give you more information, provide a quote and remove trees safely, if you wish to do that.
