Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow, which means spring is just around the corner. With only twenty days left until the official start of the season, it is time to think about the health of your lawn again.
During the winter we experience shorter days and frigid temperatures, which can cause grass to grow slower, go dormant, or even die completely. Seeing the brown, straw-like appearance of your yard can be daunting, but with our new lawn care program, our PA State Certified Specialists focus on the soil first to bring your grass back to life.
Our new program is proud to follow Penn State University’s recommendations and includes a custom blend of OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute) listed materials that activate the soil through a liquid application. Using organic based substances helps the turf accept the greatest amount of nutrients it needs to grow and knocks out chemical fertilizers and pesticides, which makes it better for the client and environment overall. The liquid method causes less mess by going right to the target to prevent runoff into storm drains waterways. This application type also provides a quicker response time to the product and controls surface feeding insects and ticks.
Our custom lawn care program consists of five visits and a total of twenty-five treatments. If you are located in the Berks, Montgomery, or Chester County areas and are ready for a safer, greener, weed-free lawn this spring – give us a call at (610) 796-7818 for more information and to schedule your initial appointment today.
